Registration
When you first get to the track, either the night before or that morning, you find a spot for your pit area. Registration and technical inspection (tech) open at 7 a.m. the morning of the event. Some events will hold tech the night before, like NJMSP. Check Absolute's Trackday forum for any updates at > www.2WheelSpace.comRiding Classifications
You will be assigned a group prior to the event based on your riding experience with us or another riding orghanization. You may be interbied by an ACE official to determine what group you will be participating in if you have nor prior riding experience with ACE. Coaches may bump up or down a rider if necessary, or at the riders request with coaches approval. Its is ACE right to determine the final group placement of all riders.
Tech Inspection
Next, you’ll need to take your bike and Helmet to tech inspection. You will either pass or fail. requirements can be found on our policies page. If you pass, great! You are in for a fun day. If you fail, see below, Absolute will try to help in any way that we can to get you to pass tech, however it is not always possible depending on available resources.
1. You will be able to remedy the problem, re-tech and be on your way, or
2. You will not be able to fix the problem, You will not ride, your spot could be replaced by a waiting list rider.If we cannot find a replacement, you can use your event insurance if elected however no refunds will be given.
Rider's Meeting
Madatory, Random roll Call will be given. Want to know what is said at the meeting? Show up!
On the Track
Depending weather and safety conditions, you can expect about Nine (possibly more if an extended event) 20-minute track sessions per event. Number of registered riders per group is limited usually about 20% less than a Track maximum. Some minor bike preparation is required, depending on riding group. See policies for more info.
Absolute Cycle Experience uses Control Riders, They can be identified by their Yellow "Follow Me" shirts. You can ask them questions and get feedback. Sometimes they may find you!
